Jung-Mo Ahn PhD

Dr. Ahn is an associate Professor of Chemistry at The University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Ahn trained at The Scripps Research Institute and has focused his work on rational design of small organic molecules for mimicking protein secondary structures. His unmatched expertise in understanding the chemistry and biology of peptides and proteins enabled him to develop new approaches for manipulating these properties with purposefully designed small organic molecules. Dr. Ahn has been instrumental in designing and synthesizing the oligobenzamides that are the basis of Etira’s drug platform.
