Paul Wynne PhD

Dr. Wynne is the Chief Scientific Officer of Gelteq Limited and the former Principal Scientist of Monash University’s Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre in Melbourne, Australia. Both roles include expertise in targeted drug delivery through formulation with particular emphasis on protected entities and oral delivery and translation through scale to manufacturability. He has 40 years of experience bridging chemical and materials science, drug structure and function, formulation and drug delivery, prodrug design and forensic chemistry. He is an internationally recognized expert in mass spectrometry and fragmentography for drug metabolism and the determination of related substances and in hybrid analytical techniques applied to structure elucidation and understanding the dynamic material properties of drug substances.  He has published over 80 peer reviewed papers including significant contributions to the understanding of species dependent drug metabolism in the forensic science literature and is named on 10 patent applications.
