ERX research wins AACR award

San Diego, CA – April 20, 2026.

Durga Paneerdoss, an undergraduate working in the laboratory of EtiraRx founder Ratna Vadlamudi received the Third Place Prize in the Margaret Foti Foundation Undergraduate Student Prize competition at the AACR Undergraduate Student Caucus and Poster Competition during the American Association for Cancer Research Annual Meeting 2026 in San Diego.

Durga’s work examined how LIPA inhibition enhances the efficacy of DNA-damaging agents in ovarian cancer by increasing ER stress and DNA damage, supporting a potential combination therapeutic strategy.
